Accessibility at YFLP
We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA across our public website, account pages, and learning workspaces. This is our accessibility target, not a certification of full conformance or a legal compliance guarantee.
Tools and preferences
Use the circular accessibility button in the bottom-right corner of every page to increase text size, enable higher contrast, reduce motion, add text spacing, or underline links. Settings stay on this device and do not require an account. They do not track you or change your account permissions.
You can also use your browser’s zoom, operating system accessibility settings, and a screen reader. We respect your system’s reduced-motion preference.
Keyboard navigation
Press Tab to move forward and Shift + Tab to move back. The first link skips navigation and moves to the main content. Enter activates links; Enter or Space activates buttons. Use Escape to close the mobile navigation or a lesson dialog. Dialogs keep keyboard focus inside while open and return it to the control that opened them.
Forms and account access
Form fields have labels, required fields use browser validation, and errors and save messages are announced where provided. Password managers, autofill, and pasting passwords are supported. No visual puzzle is required by YFLP’s own sign-in form. External identity providers have their own interfaces.
Report a barrier or request another format
Email support@yflp.org. Include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the barrier you encountered. Browser or assistive technology details are optional. Do not include passwords, private student records, or medical details. No YFLP login is required to request help.
Review and limitations
We check page structure, labels, keyboard behavior, and selected contrast combinations during development. Screen-reader testing, zoom and reflow testing, and review with people with disabilities are still needed before claiming full WCAG conformance. New lessons, uploaded documents, organization logos, and linked third-party resources also need accessibility review. If a resource is difficult to access, ask us for an accessible alternative.
