Student & family privacy
Learning should not require sharing private financial details.
For students
Use made-up numbers in money activities. Never include passwords, bank details, your home address, or a Social Security number in an answer. Your teacher can review assigned work. Your school decides who may access school records. Tell a parent or teacher if something feels unsafe.
For families
Parent accounts must be linked to a student before they can see shared progress. Ask your school about what is collected, authorized uses, retention, and how to correct or remove records. Under-13 signup requires a reviewed parent or school authorization; teens can register directly. School membership remains subject to reviewed school access.
For schools
Before real student use, establish the applicable school agreement and authority or verified parental consent; distribute direct notices; review service providers, security, retention, deletion, and incident response. Restrict access to staff who need it and deactivate memberships when they leave. No checklist or account checkbox is a compliance certification.
