Create an account, confirm your email, and find the right learning community.
Create and confirm an account
Open /auth/signup. Select your age range and purpose, enter your name and email, create a unique password of at least 12 characters, and acknowledge the policies. An approved school or class code is optional. Follow the confirmation email before signing in. Under-13 accounts require verified parent or school consent before signup; teens can register directly. A purpose selection does not grant a school role.
Sign in to the right place
Use /auth/login for general access or Find your school or district for an approved organization’s branded page. Organization sign-in uses the same YFLP account. After sign-in, YFLP routes you according to verified membership. Accounts without school access can join a school or apply to register an organization. Multiple memberships appear in Learning community.
Understand your address
Organization sign-in uses /auth/login-[orgID]. School workspaces use /[orgID]/[role]/[page], where the verified role is owner, administrator, teacher, student, or parent. Opening another role’s address does not grant permissions. Open /workspace to reach your account’s available learning space.
Passwords and shared devices
Use Forgot password? on sign-in, follow the emailed recovery link, and set a new password. Use /auth/check-email to request another confirmation email. To sign out, open Account & sign out in your workspace and choose Sign out or use another account. Sign out before leaving a shared device.
Your verified membership determines access. Instructions describe the current platform; school policies may add requirements.
